Investor expands team in line with its growth ambition
AMSTERDAM, 16 January 2020 – Herman Kienhuis (47) has become a partner with Newion, the leading early stage investor in B2B software companies, as of 1 January 2020. Newion wants to further expand its activities in Northwestern Europe and grows to a team of eleven people, of whom six partners.
Herman Kienhuis has more than 20 years of experience in the technology sector, of which over eight years as an investor. He started his career at McKinsey, led product development at internet company Sanoma Digital, was the founder of SanomaVentures and built KPN Ventures, one of the most active corporate venture capital funds in Europe. Kienhuis studied chemical engineering at the University of Groningen and holds an MBA from INSEAD.
