The first quarter of 2022 already passed by again. Time flies when you’re having fun, and fun we had here at Newion. In January we welcomed our new intern Jan, who has already shown his impact during the past few months. During 1Q22 we did 1 initial investment and 2 follow-on investments. Last but not least we can officially announce that we are raising Newion 4 with an expected closing this summer.

💼 Our new Investments in 1Q22
Prepr: enabling omnichannel media personalization
In January, Prepr became our latest addition to the Newion 3 portfolio. Jouko, Tim, and the team have built the only headless CMS that truly enables companies to maximize the impact of their content, not only by creating, managing, and publishing content but also by personalizing customer experiences. The 2.5M EUR round, led by us, in collaboration with ROM Utrecht will allow them to build out their international go-to-market strategy. Read more
Portfolio follow-on investments 🦄
In Q1 two of our portfolio companies raised new rounds in which Newion participated. Deliverect raised a 150M USD series D round, led by Coatue and Alkeon Capital, to further execute on their growth. Deliverect reached the unicorn status with a valuation of 1.4B USD. ValueBlue raised an 11M USD series B-round to support their further growth into the UK, US, and EMEA. Read more
